Ares – 1 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver Round
Unleash the fury of ancient warfare with the Ares 1 troy ounce silver round from Intaglio Mint. The obverse features a dramatic portrayal of Ares—the formidable Greek god of war—clad in traditional armor, wielding a spear, and flanked by two vicious war hounds. With flowing hair, a sculpted physique, and a gaze locked on battle, Ares embodies raw power and unrelenting aggression. His name, inscribed in a stylized Greek script, completes the striking martial motif.
The reverse features a Greek architectural dome and surrounding pillars, with “GREEK MYTHOLOGY” incorporated into the design and the hallmark along the lower circumference.
Struck in one full troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this round contains 99.9% pure elemental silver, making it both a valuable precious metal investment and a stunning piece of collectible art.
In Greek mythology, Ares represented the brutal, chaotic side of war, often contrasted with Athena’s strategic warfare. Feared by mortals and gods alike, he was the embodiment of bloodlust and valor, yet also essential to the balance of power in the ancient world.
This round belongs to the Greek Mythology Series, celebrating the legendary figures of classical antiquity through bold silver designs.
