Tartaria – 1 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver Round | Conspiracy Theories Series
Description
A lost empire. A buried civilization. A mystery cast in silver.
The Tartaria silver round from Intaglio Mint’s Conspiracy Theories Series explores the lore of a forgotten civilization said to have vanished beneath the surface of history. Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this 39mm round brings the story to life through monumental architecture, intricate detail, and the series’ signature symbolism.
The obverse depicts an elaborate domed building nestled between rugged walls of earth and stone. Ornate columns, towering façades, and an elevated arched bridge suggest a grand architectural world waiting to be rediscovered. Two small figures stand in the foreground, emphasizing the immense scale of the structure and the mystery of what lies before them.
The reverse features the all-seeing eye within a triangle, backed by radiating lines and framed by a flowing banner bearing CONSPIRACY THEORIES. Beneath the eye, the inscriptions ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER and INTAGLIO MINT identify the round’s precious metal content and maker.
The Legend of Tartaria
Tartaria lore imagines a technologically advanced civilization whose achievements were erased from recorded history. Its followers interpret monumental buildings and apparent architectural anomalies as traces of a forgotten world.
The design evokes this narrative through a dramatic scene of discovery: magnificent architecture surrounded by earth, with human observers dwarfed by its scale. It captures the fascination of the legend as an imaginative addition to the Conspiracy Theories Series.
The Mud Flood Narrative
One of the best-known elements of Tartaria lore is the “mud flood,” a proposed catastrophe said to have buried cities beneath layers of sediment. Within this story, partially buried buildings become clues to a lost civilization.
The round translates that speculative narrative into a richly detailed composition, inviting collectors to explore the imagery and intrigue of alternative-history storytelling.
Whether you collect silver, appreciate architectural art, or enjoy the mysteries behind the Conspiracy Theories Series, Tartaria offers a distinctive conversation piece in .999 fine silver.
