Chef Cat – 1 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver Round

The kitchen has a new supervisor, and this one takes tasting very seriously. Chef Cat brings a stout little feline and a busy wok together in a cheerful silver design, serving up a helping of humor in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.

A Small Chef with a Big Personality

Our cobby chef cat is cooking up something divine, giving the familiar sight of a cook at work a distinctly feline twist. Anyone who has shared a kitchen with an inquisitive cat knows the feeling of being closely observed. Here, the curious companion has taken charge of the meal.

The wok gives the scene a connection to a rich culinary tradition. More than a practical pan, it can carry family memories and knowledge passed between generations. The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History has collected historic woks and presented chef Grace Young’s work preserving Chinese American cooking traditions, including the story of her family’s own wok.

Chef Cat takes a playful approach to that everyday world of food and craft. Its character is imaginary, but the pleasure it celebrates is familiar: making something good, sharing it, and enjoying the personality of the cook along the way.

Obverse Design

A compact, rounded chef cat works at a wok, giving the round its expressive central scene. The combination of culinary activity and feline character makes the design an inviting choice for collectors who enjoy cats, cooking, and silver art with a sense of humor.

Reverse Design

The large Intaglio Mint logo is surrounded by a plain border. ONE TROY OUNCE appears above, with .999 FINE SILVER below and stars flanking the inscription, balancing the playful obverse with a straightforward statement of weight and purity.
