Design Details

The obverse arranges three sugar skulls looking in different directions: one to the right, one forward and one to the left. Roses, vines and a snake appear below. The alternating viewpoints make the skulls read as a group while the surrounding forms give the composition texture and visual variety.

The round interprets the subject through sculpted detail in silver. Its reverse features the large Intaglio Mint logo inside a plain border, with “ONE TROY OUNCE” above and “.999 FINE SILVER” below, flanked by stars. The result pairs a detailed commemorative subject with a clear silver hallmark.
