LUCKY – 1/2 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver Ball Marker | Mint Markers®
Description:
A four-leaf clover in deep silver relief, centered and bold. The simplest expression of the oldest golf truth: the difference between 79 and 83 is usually luck, and the guys who say otherwise are the ones shooting 91.
The Legend:
Bobby Jones famously said, “I never learned anything from a match I won.” He also, less famously, pocketed a four-leaf clover before the final round of the 1930 U.S. Open at Interlachen and completed the Grand Slam that same year. Coincidence? The Mint Markers® historians don’t comment on record, but they do note that this marker has shown up in the bag of a lot of guys who suddenly got a lot better. Not better at swinging. Better at scoring. There is a difference.
