Product Details

Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel (1906-1947) was an American gangster and casino investor who played a key role in the development of Las Vegas.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on February 28, 1906, Siegel was a ruthless and vicious gangster who formed the Bug and Meyer Mob with Meyer Lansky as a teenager. In 1937, Siegel moved to California and set up gambling dens and ships, and is most famously associated with the Flamingo hotel. Siegel’s violent death in his girlfriend’s Beverly Hills home in 1947 helped expose the dark side of mob life.
