Flowing hair and clusters of flowers surround a face marked by decay, creating a striking contrast between graceful ornament and horror. This 39mm round contains 2 troy ounces of .999 fine silver and features a Brilliant Uncirculated finish.
A Maiden with Many Stories
Virgo’s celestial history reaches across several traditions rather than one definitive myth. The constellation has been associated with harvest and fertility goddesses and is often pictured holding grain. The star name Spica preserves that connection, referring to a spike of grain. The flowers and undead features on this round belong to its modern fantasy design, giving the ancient maiden motif an unexpected new character.
Beauty Meets the Undead
Long waves of hair frame the forward-facing portrait, while blossoms interrupt the flowing strands. Missing flesh at the jaw reveals the teeth beneath, bringing the series’ zombie theme into sharp focus. Concentric background lines surround the figure, with the Virgo glyph at the top and “VIRGO” below.
The reverse unites the design with the rest of the Zombie Zodiacs collection. A zombie Moon and Sun appear with radiating lines, encircled by the twelve astrological symbols. Together, the two sides pair an individual sign’s identity with a shared celestial scene.
