Zombie Zodiacs Gemini – 2 Troy Ounces – 39mm
Two faces, one unsettling celestial design.
Gemini’s familiar pairing becomes a pair of undead portraits in Intaglio Mint’s Zombie Zodiacs series. Flowing hair and floral details surround two skeletal faces arranged in opposing directions, creating a composition that invites a second look as the round turns. This 39mm round contains 2 troy ounces of .999 fine silver and features a Brilliant Uncirculated finish.
The Twins Among the Stars
Gemini represents the twins Castor and Pollux of classical mythology. Their names also belong to the two prominent stars that mark the heads of the celestial twins. That enduring pairing provides the starting point for this modern design, which translates the idea of twinned figures into the series’ post-apocalyptic world.
A Portrait With Two Perspectives
One zombie face appears upright while the other is inverted, with their long hair sweeping around the central arrangement. Deep eye sockets and exposed teeth contrast with the softer curls and flowers. Concentric lines and small stars fill the surrounding field, while the Gemini glyph above and “GEMINI” below identify the sign.
The reverse unites the design with the rest of the Zombie Zodiacs collection. A zombie Moon and Sun occupy the center, framed by radiating lines and the symbols of all twelve astrological signs. The paired faces on the obverse and paired celestial bodies on the reverse give both sides a visual connection.
