This 1 oz .999 fine copper round reimagines Cancer, the celestial crab, as a monstrous undead crustacean from beyond the veil. Once a symbol of intuition and protection, it’s now a skeletal crawler with claws that crush and a carapace that reeks of rot. Sentimentality’s dead—and so is Cancer.
The obverse depicts a grotesque fusion of skull and shell, pincers poised for carnage, legs outstretched like insectile limbs of doom. The Cancer glyph drifts above like a cursed constellation, while “CANCER” is scrawled below in a malformed, bone-scratched script that could have been clawed into driftwood—or flesh.
The reverse features the eerie unifying design of the Zombie Zodiac Series: a corrupted sun and moon hybrid, half living, half dead, radiating tendrils of decay around the twelve zodiac signs. A dark zodiac for darker times.
