UFOs Over Cavemen – 2 Troy Ounce Silver Round
Some discoveries are bigger than others. UFOs Over Cavemen imagines a prehistoric gathering interrupted by visitors from the sky, leaving the people below astonished by what they see. This 2 troy ounce .999 fine silver round pairs the distant human past with a classic science-fiction encounter, capturing the instant before anyone knows what happens next.
Prehistory Meets Science Fiction
The real story of early humans is already a story of ingenuity. Stone tools preserve evidence of technical skill and innovation, while the control of fire opened new possibilities for cooking. Hearths and shelters also became places where people could gather, eat and socialize. Archaeologists reconstruct those lives from the durable traces they left behind.
This design adds an imaginative visitor to that world. Its “cavemen” belong to the familiar popular picture of prehistory, and the UFOs supply the fictional surprise. The result is a playful meeting of two different kinds of mystery: the human past that researchers study and the extraterrestrial encounter that storytellers imagine.
Obverse Design
A group of cavemen reacts in astonishment to UFOs overhead. The composition makes the human response central to the scene; the craft matter, but so does the shared moment of looking up at something wholly unfamiliar. It continues the series’ habit of placing unexpected aerial visitors above settings far removed from modern space travel.
Reverse Design
A large Intaglio Mint logo appears within a plain border. “TWO TROY OUNCES” and “.999 FINE SILVER” identify the silver content, with the year “2023” flanking the design. The orderly mint emblem provides a clear counterpart to the surprised gathering on the obverse.
