UFOs Over the Red Sea – 1 Troy Ounce Silver Round
An ancient story meets an unexpected arrival from the skies. UFOs Over the Red Sea places flying saucers above Moses as he parts the waters, bringing a science-fiction twist to one of the Bible’s most recognizable scenes. This 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver round combines the drama of the crossing with the playful imagination of the UFO series.
The Story Behind the Scene
In Exodus 14, Moses is instructed to raise his staff and extend his hand over the sea. The account describes a strong east wind driving back the waters through the night, opening dry ground for the Israelites to cross with water on either side. The outstretched arm and divided sea supply the essential visual language of that story.
The saucers belong to this modern artistic interpretation, adding a speculative layer to the familiar biblical setting. That meeting of ancient narrative and futuristic visitors is the design’s central surprise: the viewer recognizes the crossing immediately, then discovers something very different overhead.
Obverse Design
Moses stands below the UFOs with both arms outstretched and a staff in his right hand as the waters part. The composition links the action below with the craft above, inviting the eye to move between the human figure, the opened sea and the sky. It is a scene built around scale, movement and an unexpected juxtaposition.
Reverse Design
A high-relief Intaglio Mint logo sits on a radial burst, surrounded by a stippled border. “ONE TROY OUNCE” and “.999 FINE SILVER” identify the weight and purity, with the year “2023” flanking the design. The radiating background gives the mint emblem its own sense of energy.
