UFOs Over Devils Tower – 2 Troy Ounce Silver Round

One of Wyoming’s most distinctive landmarks becomes the setting for an unexpected arrival. UFOs hover over Devils Tower while bison graze below, and a jackalope makes a playful cameo. This 2 troy ounce .999 fine silver round combines a real natural wonder with the imaginative world of Intaglio Mint’s UFO Sightings & Alien Abduction Series.

America’s First National Monument

On September 24, 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt proclaimed Devils Tower the first United States national monument. Rising above the landscape of northeastern Wyoming, the formation was protected for its remarkable geology. Its striking profile makes it a recognizable centerpiece even when reduced to the face of a silver round.

The Tower is formed from igneous rock, but the exact sequence of events that created it remains a subject of scientific discussion. The National Park Service notes that researchers agree on the role of cooled magma while differing over details of its emplacement and relationship to the surrounding landscape. That genuine geological puzzle gives the setting plenty of wonder before the fictional visitors arrive.

Wildlife Meets Western Imagination

The design mixes three kinds of storytelling. Devils Tower anchors the scene in a real place, grazing bison give it a familiar Western character, and the saucers introduce the series’ science-fiction twist. The jackalope adds one more wink of fantasy, inviting a closer look beyond the main landmark.

It is that combination of recognizable scenery and unlikely company that makes the round memorable. The landscape remains the star, while the visitors overhead turn an ordinary view into an imagined encounter.
