The Great Earthquake is the sixth release in Intaglio Mint’s Seven Seals of the Apocalypse series, continuing the collection’s sculptural interpretation of the powerful imagery found in the Book of Revelation.
The obverse presents a richly detailed landscape torn apart by catastrophe. Deep fractures divide the ground, jagged mountains rise beneath a turbulent sky, and falling stars descend toward the shattered earth. Figures huddle among the rocks below, conveying the fear and vulnerability of humanity within John’s prophetic vision. Above the scene, two winged figures frame the heavens, while curling scrolls and biblical inscriptions complete the composition. The reverse carries the collection’s ornate emblem, with the seven-horned Lamb at its center and a flowing banner bearing 7 SEALS OF THE APOCALYPSE.
