Ninja Cat – 1 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver Round

Silent paws, two swords, and the best vantage point on the roof: Ninja Cat is ready for an adventure after dark. Intaglio Mint turns a cat’s natural air of stealth into a playful warrior portrait, bringing feline attitude to one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.

Stealth Meets Silver

The pairing feels almost inevitable. A cat can cross a room without announcing itself, watch patiently from an elevated perch, and spring into motion in an instant. Give that familiar personality a rooftop and a sword in each hand, and the ordinary household hunter becomes an action-story hero.

Behind the popular ninja image lies a history of information gathering. Japan’s Ninja Museum of Igaryu describes espionage and strategy as central to ninja work, a useful reminder that observation and preparation mattered alongside physical skill. The spectacular fighter of movies and comics is an imaginative development of that more complicated history.

This round enjoys the theatrical side of the theme. Its feline warrior belongs to the world of character art, with the rooftop setting suggesting a mission already underway. The humor comes from taking a cat’s self-assurance completely seriously: this is a tiny figure with a very large sense of purpose.

Obverse Design

Ninja Cat stands on a rooftop with a sword in each hand. The elevated setting and armed stance give the composition its story, combining a recognizable animal subject with the drama of an adventure scene.

Reverse Design

A large Intaglio Mint logo sits within a plain border. “ONE TROY OUNCE” appears above and “.999 FINE SILVER” below, with stars flanking the inscriptions.
