About Intaglio’s Reserve Vault

In a market crowded with resellers who stock other people’s products and mark them up, we’re doing something different. Every coin that leaves our facility we made ourselves — from the moment raw metal arrives in Ozark, Missouri, to the finished coin that ships to your door. There is no middleman, no outside factory. There is a small team, a set of presses, and years of obsession over every detail.

We Make What We Sell

Most dealers are retailers. They buy finished products from refineries and government mints, put a sticker on them, and ship them out the door. We’re not dealers pretending to be a mint. We are the mint.

Every coin, round, bar, and medallion we offer is manufactured in-house on our own equipment:

  • For silver and gold, we source raw U.S. metal and cast our own blanks in-house to our tolerances.
  • For copper (and some silver), we use finished blanks sourced exclusively from American refineries — never offshore.
  • We design our own dies and cut them in our own die shop.
  • We strike every piece on our own presses.
  • We inspect, finish, polish, and package every product by hand before it ships.

When you hold an IRV.COM coin, you’re holding something that exists because we decided it should — not because a catalog supplier offered it to us at a discount.

A Small Team That Actually Cares

We are numismatists and collectors ourselves. We know what a good strike feels like because we’ve been assembling collections of our own for decades. The people designing our coins are the same people striking them, inspecting them, and writing the release notes. There are no layers of management between the person answering your email and the person who made the coin in your hand.

It’s a small team, and that’s by design. We’d rather release fewer products and get each one exactly right than crank out volume to fill shelves.

Quality Is Not a Department

Every piece gets looked at. Not sampled — looked at. Before a coin is packaged for shipment, a human being has inspected the strike, the finish, and the edge. If it doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t leave. We’d rather disappoint a waitlist than disappoint a collector.

That obsession starts upstream. The dies we cut set the ceiling on what any coin can ever become, so we won’t rush a die into production to meet a deadline. A rushed die makes a rushed coin, forever.

Creativity in Every Release

This is the part we love most. A mint is a strange creature — part factory, part art studio. The best pieces we’ve ever made started as napkin sketches, late-night conversations, or a member of our team saying “wouldn’t it be cool if…” The Copper Bug Series, Purrfectly Copper, Silver Bug, Mint Markers, Mint Club®, and our tribute releases all exist because somebody on our team wanted to hold them in their hand.

We’re always working on what’s next. If you’re on our waitlist or a member of Mint Club®, you see it first.

For Collectors, By Collectors

If you’ve landed here, you probably care about more than just the metal content. You care about design, provenance, and knowing who made the coin and what’s behind it. So do we. Thanks for visiting — and welcome to the Vault.
